We are always looking for new works! Our FROM THE GROUND UP... READING FESTIVAL hosts 4 readings of new plays and musicals each February, in hopes of finding the next smash hit.

We've had great success with plays debuting in past festivals.  Subsequent to their readings in the festival, Ground UP has produced world-class premieres of ASYMMETRIC by Mac Rogers (2014), RUBBER DUCKS & SUNSETS by Catya McMullen (2013), PRATFALLS by Holly Webber (2012), LETTER FROM ALGERIA by Michael Ian Walker (2010).

Additionally, Ground UP has had two new works published (by Samuel French and Dramatists Play Service) from our 2007 and 2008 Seasons.

All submissions must be in by October 15th, 2014 via email to: submissions@groundupproductions.org

Please follow these guidelines:

•Full-length plays preferred

•8 Characters or fewer

•Include a cover page with contact info

•Musicals encouraged!

•.MP3 files should accompany a musical submission

•.PDF format for scripts preferred

At this time we are no longer accepting submissions for our 2015 reading series, our 7th annual.  However, please continue to send in your works, we will keep it for consideration for our 2016 series.
